Calling for Leaders to Help Shape the Future of the Workplace

OSWEGO COUNTY – Integrated Community Planning of Oswego County, Inc. joins forces with the Early Care & Learning Council and Child Care Solutions to launch the “Business Navigator: A Child Care Toolkit for Employers in New York State” in Central New York. The event runs from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30 at the DoubleTree Syracuse, 6301 NYS Rte. 298, E. Syracuse.

This is an opportunity for business owners, human resources professionals and policy makers to come together and learn how to implement child care benefits that create supportive and productive workplaces.

There will be discussions and networking opportunities available with other top business leaders who share a commitment to fostering family-friendly environments. Attendees will learn about practical tools, regional data, case studies and tax credits that can help offset the cost of providing child care benefits.

The “Business Navigator Child Care Toolkit” was developed by the Early Care & Learning Council and funded by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.

It was designed to help businesses overcome child care challenges while promoting workplace excellence. By balancing work responsibilities with the caregiving needs of its workforce, companies will be able to attract and retain top talent while making a meaningful difference in their employees’ lives.
