OSWEGO COUNTY – Looking for festive, fun activities for your children to do over the holiday break? Camp Hollis offers an overnight Holiday Break Bivouac from Friday, Jan. 2 at 4 p.m. to Saturday, Jan. 3 at 9 a.m. The event is open to youth ages 8 to 12.
Campers will enjoy outdoor activities such as sledding and building snowmen before heading indoors to warm up with a special holiday movie. To complement the film, children will take part in various arts and crafts, including ornament painting and other hands-on projects inspired by the characters found in the movie. This event is designed to bring children together for an amazing winter experience filled with adventure, imagination and holiday cheer.
Dinner and a snack will be provided on Jan. 2, and breakfast will be served on Jan. 3. Children are asked to pack winter outdoor attire, a sleeping bag, pillow, toothbrush, toothpaste and a change of clothes. Campers will be staying the night in the main building of Camp Hollis.
