Healthy Family Night set for May 23 at Fairley Elementary School

Fairley Elementary School is gearing up for its annual Healthy Family Night, with a full slate of games, activities, raffles, a book fair, and information booths in the works.

The annual event, set for 5-7 p.m. May 23, will feature a variety of community agencies, nonprofit organizations and local businesses. Participants include the Child Advocacy Center; Camp Hollis; Camp Waves of Hope; Catholic Charities; Blessings in a Backpack; Excellus BCBS; Farnham Family Services; Food Bank of CNY; Hannibal Library; Hannibal Pharmacy; Hannibal Tops; CiTi Audiology; Peace, Love & a Fuller Experience; Yoga; Oswego County Opportunities; Ontario Orchards; Oswego Health; Workforce NY; and more!

In addition to the participating organizations, there will also be prize giveaways and other activities. Donors and sponsors include the Mets, Chuck Hafner’s Garden Center, Wonderworks, Hycamore Handmade Soaps, the MOST, the zoo, CMOO, Chipotle and Price Chopper.

“We would like to thank everyone who makes this event such a success every year,” said Hannibal Central School District psychologist Brittany Meier, who organizes the event alongside Fairley social worker Maggie Olon. “This is truly a community event, and we couldn’t do it without the support of our families, our staff, local agencies and volunteers.”
