Oswego County Announces October Mobile Food Pantries

OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Health Department partners with the Food Bank of Central New York to offer four mobile food pantries around the county in October.

Anyone in need of food assistance can attend a mobile food pantry to receive a free box of food. There are no income requirements for recipients; however, boxes are limited to one per household while supplies last.

The October mobile food pantry schedule is:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 4 p.m.: Life Church, 2856 NYS Rte. 49, Central Square (entrance is on county Route 37)
  • Saturday, Oct. 5 at 1 p.m.: APW High School, 639 Co. Rte. 22, Parish
  • Friday, Oct. 11 at 4 p.m.: Oswego Alliance Church, 371 Thompson Rd., Oswego
  • Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 4 p.m.: Palermo United Methodist Church, 11 Co. Rte. 35, Fulton

Attendees of the Central Square event on Oct. 1 are asked not to arrive before 3 p.m. as the parking lot will not be available before then.

Mobile food pantries are held until food has run out. The events are drive-thru, and people are asked to stay in their vehicles.
