Oswego County DSS Closed Until Feb. 2

OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Department of Social Services (DSS) announces that its office building will be closed to the public for the rest of the week due to ongoing issues with a broken heating line. DSS plans to re-open to the public on Monday, Feb. 2.

“Public facing lobby operations will remain closed while we work to mitigate issues to ensure a safe environment for staff and clients,” said Oswego County DSS Commissioner Lee Sullivan. “Residents will continue to be served by staff working from alternate worksites. We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation during this time and will provide updates as needed.”

During this period, DSS will continue to provide services remotely and by phone. Any residents that have questions or require assistance during this time should reach out to their usual point of contact at DSS.
