Oswego County Offers Free Transportation to ‘Balloons Under the Moon’

OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Department of Mobility Management partners with the Town of Granby to offer free park-n-ride transportation to “Balloons Under the Moon” in Granby on Wednesday, Aug. 19.

“Once again, Oswego County is able to offer free transportation to ‘Balloons Under the Moon,’” said Oswego County Legislator Mary Ellen Chesbro, District 10, Chairwoman of the Legislature’s Economic Development and Planning Committee. “Providing reliable transportation helps ensure that residents and visitors can easily enjoy the outstanding events and experiences our county has to offer.”

Oswego County Director of Mobility Management Heather Snow added, “Due to the incredible turnout at last year’s ‘Balloons Under the Moon,’ we’re excited to announce that four shuttle buses will be operating throughout this year’s event to better accommodate attendees. The shuttles will run continuously between designated stops and the event site, making it simple and convenient to get there. Our buses are fully accessible, ensuring everyone can enjoy the event with ease.”

Shuttle stops are as follows:

• Granby Walmart, 1818 NYS Rte. 3, Fulton
• Granby Town Hall, 1909 NYS Rte. 3, Fulton
• Granby Elementary School, 400 W. Seventh St. N., Fulton
• Ray Bodley High School, 6 William Gillard Drive, Fulton

“Balloons Under the Moon” will be held at Don Butler Soccer Fields in Granby, located at 300 Chase Rd. in Fulton. Shuttles will run from 5 to 9 p.m.
