Oswego County Office for the Aging Offers Health Insurance Fairs This Fall

OSWEGO COUNTY- The Oswego County Office for the Aging (OFA) offers two health insurance fairs to help inform residents about insurance options. OFA staff and representatives from various insurance companies will be available to answer questions.

“As Medicare open enrollment approaches, we want to make sure our residents have multiple opportunities to review their coverage options and ask any questions they may have,” said OFA Director Sara Sunday. “We decided to offer two insurance fairs to make it more convenient for our seniors and to alleviate traffic at our office. While this is not an enrollment event, attendees will be able to connect with insurance representatives, discuss any changes for 2025 and learn about other insurance providers in our area.”

The schedule for the health insurance fairs is as follows:

  • Monday, Sept. 23 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Pulaski American Legion, 3350 Maple Ave.
  • Friday, Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Catholic Charities of Oswego County, 808 W. Broadway, Fulton.

Registration is not required for either health insurance fair.

For more information about this event or other OFA programs and services, call the OFA at 315-349-3484.
