OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office holds a property auction on Wednesday, April 10 at the County’s Buildings & Grounds facility, 111 E. 11th St., Oswego. The facility opens at 9 a.m. for bidders to view sale items and the public auction begins at 10 a.m.
Vehicles listed in the sale include a 1964 Ford truck, a 2006 Ford F-250 truck, a 2016 Ford panel van and three 2016 Ford Explorers. Successful bidders will need to obtain the vehicle’s title certificate from the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles.
Additional equipment will be available for bid, such as a power boom lift, a generator unit, a skid steer/constructor and two loaders, plus attachments. There are also four UTV/Gators plus loose parts and accessories, along with a portable air compressor and an equipment trash pump.
All vehicles and property will be sold in “as is” condition, subject to any liens, holdings, mortgages, conditional sales or other obstacles and without any real or implied warranty. Bidders are encouraged to inspect all items before bidding.
At least 10% of the winning bid for each item is due as a down payment at the time of sale. The remaining balance is due by 3 p.m. that same day, or within a reasonable time period that is authorized by the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office. Bidders may forfeit their down payment if they don’t pay the balance in full within the agreed time period.
Cash, attorney check or certified funds are the only acceptable forms of payments. Payments may be made at the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, 39 Churchill Rd., Oswego to the attention of the “Oswego County Sheriff.”
Bidders are responsible for taking their items immediately after the final payment is made during normal business hours.
The Oswego County Sheriff reserves the right to accept or decline any and all bids.
