OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Soil and Water Conservation District welcomes gardeners to its 54th annual spring tree and shrub sale. From hardwoods to fruits, shrubs and miscellaneous conservation items, there are a wide variety of items available for purchase.
An assortment of tree species is included in the sale, such as black walnut, Northern red oak, red maple, swamp white oak, black hills spruce, Colorado blue spruce, Eastern white pine, and more. Shrubs for sale include American hazelnut, button bush and red osier dogwood, while available flowers include the ‘Cheyenne Spirit’ coneflower, the ‘Alaska’ Shasta Daisy and lavender. Fruits such as strawberries, blue damson plum, red haven peach, Sam Houston peach and a variety of apples are also available for sale in limited quantities.

Email the completed order form to [email protected] or mail it to Oswego County Soil and Water Conservation District, 3105 NYS Rte. 3, Fulton. Checks and money orders should be made payable to Oswego County Soil and Water.
Orders will be accepted until Monday, March 31 and pick-up is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, April 14 and 15 at the Oswego County Soil and Water Conservation District, 3105 NYS Rte. 3, Fulton.
It is recommended to place orders early, as some species do sell out. Updates about species availability, as well as a description and site suitability guide are provided online.
