OSWEGO COUNTY – Centro invites the public to share feedback on its new “Better Bus” network to transition some of the current bus systems in the cities of Fulton and Oswego to a new fixed-route service.
Centro’s project team will be available at outreach events on Wednesday, July 9 to connect with residents about the proposed route changes. Representatives will be present at bus stop shelter locations in Fulton and Oswego. The schedule is as follows:
- 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Towpath Towers, 100 Rochester St., Fulton
- 2 to 6 p.m. on the corner of Bridge Street and West Second Street, Oswego
The goal of “Better Bus” is to ensure easier navigation for riders of the transit system and provide more frequency where possible. A public hearing is planned for September, and the new routes are estimated to be launched in January 2026.
