Ticket Sales Begin February 5 For 2024 International Taste Festival In Syracuse

SYRACUSE, NY – Deeply discounted admission tickets go on sale Monday, February 5 for the 2024 International Taste Festival, returning Saturday, April 6 for its third year to the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. Admissions for those age 10 and over are just $5 during the special pre-event sale, a 50% discount off the $10 price at the door during the festival. Children under 10 are admitted free and parking on the Fairgrounds is free. Buy discounted admission tickets here to the festival named by USA Today as one of the nation’s best.

The festival returns a rich menu of food, music and arts and crafts reflecting the many world cultures that make up Central New York. The sights, sounds and tastes of Africa, Asia, South and Central America, Europe and North America will be present through a full day of free musical and cultural stage performances as well as delicious entrees, snacks, desserts and beverages for sale from several dozen vendors. Families will also enjoy an area of activities for children.

“For this third edition, we’ve put together an exciting array of performers and vendors, many of whom will be new to the festival. People who’ve come here before say they love this festival and those who buy their tickets during this special sale will find they’re going to get more festival for less money than ever,” said Stephanie Pestillo, festival organizer.

The day also features a 5K/10K walk/run to benefit David’s Refuge, the East Syracuse-based non-profit which provides rest and support to caregivers of children with special needs. The race is the kickoff event of the festival, starting at 10 a.m. Registration is $40 for the 5K and $50 for the 10K, with an additional five dollars for those participating virtually, at https://runsignup.com/Race/NY/Syracuse/InternationalTasteFestival5K10K.

The race is presented by Willow Running USA in partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods.

About the festival

The International Taste Festival celebrates the music, food and crafts of the world’s many cultures. In 2023, USA Today named the event one of the top 20 city food festivals in America, calling it “a great place to sample homegrown favorites as well food from around the globe, all for a reasonable price. Live entertainment and a 5K/10K race add to the fun. It’s family-friendly, so bring the kids.” The festival runs from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. in the Center of Progress Building. Admission is $5 per person advance sale, $10 at the door. Children under 10 are admitted free. Parking is free on the Fairgrounds.
