OSWEGO — Trinity United Methodist Church will hold a Christmas Nu2U and Christmas Cookie Sale on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a portion of the proceeds used to buy food and toys for several families at Christmas, according to a release from the church.

The sale will be held downstairs at the church, 45 E. Utica St., at the corner of East Fourth and Utica streets. Visitors should use the East Utica Street entrance.

Homemade cookies will be sold by the pound. The Nu2U sale will include new and gently used Christmas decorations, clothing, dishes, books and gift items.

Donations of used Christmas items may be dropped off Dec. 3 and 4 from 9 a.m. to noon. Donors may also call the church to arrange another time.

Freewill dinners planned for November and December

The church also welcomes everyone to an eat-in freewill dinner on Sunday, Nov. 1, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., or until the food is gone. The menu includes turkey breast, mashed potatoes, dressing, squash, a vegetable, rolls, pie and a beverage.

A second dinner is planned for Sunday, Dec. 6, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., or until the food is gone. Goulash, Italian bread, tossed salad, cookies and beverages are planned.

Both dinners will be served downstairs, with entry from Utica Street. Donations are accepted but not expected. The church generally holds its freewill dinners on the first Sunday of each month beginning at 4:30 p.m. Menus are subject to change.

Sunday worship begins at 11 a.m. For more information, call and leave a message at 315-343-1715, visit the Trinity United Methodist Church website or see the church’s Facebook page.
