OSWEGO, NY – October 25 is the date set for the annual community “Make a Craft” Day.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be a variety of quality crafts along with instructions offered for attendees to make and take their crafts with them.

Some of the items available to make will be a country snowman, a scrap booking project called a “Squash Book,” a window sill sitter, hemp bracelets, microwaveable corn therapy bags, holiday decorations and much more.

All items can be made for a minimal charge that just covers the cost of materials.

The crafts are geared to adults, but may be accomplished by older children with help from an adult.

There will be a children’s project booth also.

Participants are encouraged to come for the whole day to be able to make all of the items, but come anytime and stay as long as you like.

Each craft should take under an hour to complete.

The crafts will be set up at different stations so that you may pick the ones that you would like to learn or you can make them all.

There is no need to pre-register.

There will be many door prizes and a hand made quilt as the grand prize.

Lunch and snacks are also available for a minimal charge.

A spokesperson said that this would be a good way to get a head start on holiday gift giving or to make a few gifts for your self.

For additional information contact the church office at 342-5493.

The church is located on Thompson Road, just off Route 104 near the college. missing or outdated ad config
