Fourth grader Brooke Trevett races back to her teammates after completing a cup-stacking portion of the school’s annual Olympics event.

OSWEGO – Students at Charles E. Riley Elementary competed in the annual school Olympics celebration, after they learned about the countries their classes represented.

While several classrooms studied the countries and incorporated related topics into academic lessons ahead of the games, CER students in grades kindergarten through six were even more thrilled to join the fun, competitive games as they cheered one another in a strong show of sportsmanship.
All students wore CER Olympics T-shirts and were awarded medals for their participation.
