Application Days Continue for Head Start’s Fall Enrollment

Oswego County Head Start/Pre-K program is pleased to announce a second opportunity to complete an application to determine eligibility for the school year 2018-19.

Families may apply for enrollment by attending “Application Days” being held in May.

“Application Days” are scheduled at various locations throughout the county.

Head Start pre-K enrolls 3- and 4-year-old children and is provided at no cost to families that meet the federal income guidelines.

The program offers different options: ½-day sessions, and full-day sessions.

When coming to a site to complete an application, families must bring documentation which includes evidence of birth (birth certificate/insurance card), proof of 2017 income, copy of the child’s immunization record and any court papers regarding custody.

Head Start is the longest running national school readiness program in the United States.
