Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Elementary students created memories at their spring band and chorus concert, directed by chorus teacher Gil Lopez and band teacher Michele Catania.

The fourth grade chorus struck a sentimental note with the song “Memories” by Teresa Jennings, which concluded the evening.
Chorus members swayed to the music arm in arm.
This was Lopez’s final performance with APW Elementary.
Principals Julie Woolson and Michael McAuliff thanked him for his thirty years of dedicated service, and wished him happiness in retirement.

The fourth grade band featured individual classes with solo parts; they played “Baja Breeze” and “Mohnomen Harvest” by Person/Nowlin among others.
The fifth and sixth grade chorus sang “Hopeful” by Bars and Melody and “Down at the Beach” by Teresa Jennings, which included gleeful dance moves and beach balls.
Some audience members started singing along when the fifth and sixth grade band played “Don’t Stop Believing” by Steve Perry.
