APW Future Business Leaders of America Hosts Holiday Bazaar, Winter Wear Pickup For Community

Students wrap presents at the FBLA Holiday Bazaar

OSWEGO COUNTY –  This December, the APW Junior Senior High’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) welcomed the community to its 4th Annual Holiday Bazaar before the holiday break, debuting its first-ever public Community Night. Initially postponed due to weather, the event took place immediately before the Junior-Senior High Holiday Concert.

Visitors enjoyed a variety of gifts priced from 25 cents to $5, with free gift wrapping available on site. The event ran alongside the district’s Winter Wear Pickup, giving families the chance to browse and claim donated cold-weather items at no cost. Leftover winter wear was bagged by size and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

“The Holiday Bazaar and Winter Wear Pickup were tremendous successes thanks to the incredible support of our APW CSD community,” said Amy DeJohn, FBLA Advisor and APW JSHS Business Teacher. The FBLA continues to give students the tools and experiences needed to be successful wherever their futures take them.
