The Art Association of Oswego will host its first-ever SPOTS pop-up flea market and craft sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Fort Ontario parking lot. SPOTS offers a casual, community-focused day for families and creators looking for a little fun.
A wide variety of vendors are sought to make SPOTS a true community event. Flea market and resale items, antiques, handmade crafts, farm products, produce and plants, baked goods, artwork, jewelry, home goods, children’s toys and clothing, nonprofit and informational organizations, and entertainment are all welcome.
“People can use their spot however they like,” said organizer Deborah Chalone. “We want to give people a low cost way to get out there while raising money for an organization that continually gives back to its community. The money raised will help the Art Association with outreach and upkeep costs.”
Parking spaces, or “spots,” are available for $20 each and measure 9 feet by 18 feet. Multiple spaces can be purchased to accommodate larger setups and tents. Special permits and fees waived for food trucks attending the event.
For more information about reserving a SPOT or questions about the event, contact the Art Association of Oswego.
