Art Association To Host Nonobjective Invitational

OSWEGO, NY – The Art Association of Oswego announces the opening of a new exhibition in the Timothy McHenry Gallery at the Oswego Civic Arts Center.

The exhibition is entitled Totally Abstract: Nonobjective Invitational. The show will open with a reception for the artists on Oct. 25 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Art Center.

This exhibition consists of work by artists from across central NY whose work contains no recognizable imagery or visual references from the real world.

The show includes a wide range of approaches, media and techniques.

The artistic inspiration for each piece also varies widely.

Each artist was asked to write about an aspect of their work that excites them.

This information will be included on the exhibition tags.

This show will continue until Nov. 23.

Regular gallery hours are from 2-5 p.m. on weekends or by appointment.

Group tours are welcome.

The Oswego Civic Arts Center is located at the northernmost end of East Fourth Street in Oswego.
