Arts And Craft Show To Benefit Relay For Life

OSWEGO, NY – Carol Fox, a participant of Relay For Life, announces she will be hosting an arts and craft show to benefit for Relay For Life, May 7 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Fallbrook Recreation Center, 103 Thompson Road, from 11 a.m. -4 p.m.

Since loosing her dad, John Darling, in 2009, to cancer, Fox started the team “John’s Darlings” to participate in the Relay For Life campaign.

Relay for Life is a fund-raising event sponsored each year by the American Cancer Society.

Participants are cancer survivors, current fighters and victims – family and friends of all who have been affected by this terrible disease.

A table will be set at the arts and craft Show featuring RLF items (luminary bags, hope candles & signs) which can be purchased to honor a loved one and placed on the track at the Oswego High School during this year’s Relay For Life event happening June 10.

In addition there will be more than 20 talented merchants selling their products. Handcrafted jewelry and  knitted items, gourmet foods; pet and home items and popular name brand companies will be represented.

Here is just a sampling of what will be offered – all natural soaps, all natural dog treats, wood crafts, doll clothes, bridal accessories, as well as primitives, Americana and vintage items.

Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple and Close To My Heart representatives will be on hand with their products and demonstrations.
