Arts Program Continues Downtown

OSWEGO, NY – The “Thursday Artists” interactive arts program at Lakeside Artisans continues with workshops through September and early October.

These activities take place during the farmers’ market, from 5 – 7 p.m., at the artists’ co-op and gallery in Canal Commons.

On Sept. 8, Carol Burghart will use watercolor paints to create fall leaf pictures.

Sharon Terry will help patrons create their own bead earrings on Sept. 15.

There will be a series of watercolor demonstrations and workshops with Burghart on Sept. 22, Jeanne Dupre on Sept. 29 and Michele Southgate on Oct. 6.

The painting workshops are free and open to the public.

There may be a nominal charge ($2 to $3), for the earring workshop depending upon materials used.

Lakeside Artisans is an artists’ co-operative located in Canal Commons at 193 W. First St.

They are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, until 8 p.m. on Thursday during the market and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. missing or outdated ad config
