West Monroe, NY (April 5, 2010)-A representative from Attorney General Andrew Cuomo’s Office spoke to MIA Senior Citizens on the topic of consumer fraud as part of Cuomo’s statewide Smart Seniors Program. The presentation informed participants about how to best avoid consumer scams that frequently target seniors, such as sweepstakes, mail orders, and identity theft. This Presentation was given by Assistant Attorney General-in-Charge from Cuomo’s Syracuse office, Ed Thompson.
