The event will be held May 12 at The Lodge at Welch Allyn in Skaneateles.

“Dr. Hoepner takes every opportunity to explain Aurora’s mission to his patients, colleagues and the community at large,” said Debra Chaiken, Aurora’s executive director. “He provides compassion without compromise and never loses sight of his patients’ needs.”

The event will begin at 6 p.m. and will include dinner, dancing, music by Mere Mortals and silent and live auctions.

“Our auctions will include gift baskets, getaways, jewelry and more, just in time for Father’s Day, graduations and the wedding season,” Chaiken said.

Aurora of CNY is the only non-profit that works exclusively with people in Central New York who are deaf, blind, visually impaired or hard of hearing.

Aurora is a United Way agency of Central New York and Oswego and Cayuga counties.
