FULTON, NY – Jim Farfaglia, a local author who has written a number of books on life in Central New York, made a presentation on his recent book, “Voices in the Storm: Stories From the Blizzard of ’66,” at the March 17 meeting of the Fulton Lions Club.
Farfaglia interviewed more than 200 people who lived, attended school and worked in Central New York in 1966, and the book is based on those interviews, as well as his research of the blizzard’s impact on local businesses and municipalities.
Farfaglia also spoke about his next book on the Oswego County Pioneer Search and Rescue Team, as well as another upcoming book on interviews with local World War II and Korean War veterans.
