Author Stan Wilczek Talks About His Books

OSWEGO, NY – Stan Wilczek writes novels set in Central New York.

On Thursday, the author of The Kept Secret and The Soma Man, told members of the Oswego Sunrise Rotary about writing novels.

Wilczek is an engineer by education and experience.

He graduated from SUNY at Buffalo with a BS in Nuclear Engineering, earned a MBA from Syracuse University and is a graduate of Harvard’s Advance Management Program.

Before writing his first book, he worked for 30 years in the nuclear and utility industry.

He has lived in Central New York and uses it as a setting for the books.

He currently teaches at LeMoyne College and Keuka College.

He was a man of facts and math until he read his first novel 20 years ago.

This led him after reading and enjoying many books to a desire to write a book.

The process of writing his first book taught him many lessons about publishing and editing books.
