Autism Connections Puts Meetings On Hold For Summer

FULTON, NY – The Parents of Special Children, Autism Connections group, will not meet during the summer months of July and August.

The group will restart its regular monthly meetings again on Sept. 13 at 7 p.m.

“Typically, we meet the first Tuesday of each month,” said group facilitator Theresa Familo, “However in September, that first Tuesday is the night before school begins. That’s a very difficult evening for parents to be away from home. So we pushed it out one week.”

The group meets at the office of Parents of Special Children, at 2 Tower Drive, Suite C, Fulton, from 7 – 9 p.m.

It’s a wonderful opportunity for people whose lives are touched by autism to connect with one another.

Topics range from behavioral issues, school programs, sibling relationships, respite ideas and your good old support and encouragement!

All are welcome and snacks always provided!
