Autism Walk Planned; Agency Support Needed

OSWEGO, NY – April is Autism Awareness month.

It also marks the fifth year in a row families, friends, teachers, service providers or anyone who has been affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder can come together in Oswego County and “Walk For Autism.”

The “Family Fun” event organized by the Oswego County Autism Task Force will be held on April 30 at Leighton Elementary School and the Wilber Track and Field.

OCATF is currently seeking the participation of local agencies who serve children with Autism.

These agencies can reserve a spot in the “agency information” area of the event to meet and greet families while dispensing information about their services in Oswego County.

Space is limited.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sponsors for the event include, Oswego County ARC, Pemberton Associates/Pinnacle Preschool, Little Lukes Childcare and the Oswego County Health Department.

The event is free and open to the public, however registration is required.
