OSWEGO COUNTY – In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, today, Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay (R,C,I,Ref-Pulaski) and his staff encouraged regular screenings for breast cancer.
“Close to one in every eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during her lifetime, and in New York it claims the lives of more than 2,500 women annually,” Barclay said. “Early detection, however, saves lives, so it is critical that women, especially those over the age of 40, are screened regularly.”
