OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego City Fire Department, through its EMS Education Bureau, will be conducting an Emergency Medical Technician Basic original course.
It will begin in September.
Course completion date is December 2009.
This course allows the student to learn the basic skills in becoming a New York State Emergency Medical Technician, a skill that can not only be used for job opportunities, but a rewarding field for those who enjoy helping others.
This is also the first step of certification required for possible future employment as a firefighter with the city of Oswego.
You must be 18 years of age to take the course.
