Bernard Quinn Awarded a Paul Harris Fellow by Fulton Rotary Club

The Fulton Rotary Club recently awarded the coveted PAUL HARRIS FELLOWSHIP to retired postal worker Bernard Quinn. Bernie, center, served in the U. S. Army, returned home, and went to work for the United States Post Office. He enjoyed that job so much that he stayed for 53 years. He was always there with a smile and a helpful attitude. Fulton Rotarians felt that Bernie exemplifies the Paul Harris slogan of “Service Above Self’. The donation in the amount of $1000 that is made to The Rotary Foundation to honor Bernie will be used to help eradicate Polio in the world. In the above photo, Bernie is joined by his two sisters, Kay Bush on the left, and Peggy Coyne.
