OSWEGO, NY – On Thursday, Superintendent of Schools Bill Crist told the members of the Oswego Sunrise Rotary about next year’s school budget.

A budget news letter will be mailed to each citizen and a hearing will be held at the May 3 board meeting.
The school board election is on May 17.
The $74.7 million budget contains no increase in taxes due to the work of the Oswego School board and the willingness of the teachers to take no increase in salaries.
All elementary schools will remain open during the school year 2011-2012.
Crist reviewed the effect of the litigations involving Constellation Energy and its effect on the school budget.
