Birds Eye Foods in Fulton recently presented Catholic Charities of Oswego County with a check in support of the agency’s food pantry.  Each year the food pantry at Catholic Charities of Oswego County feeds thousands of families and distributes hundreds of Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets to those in need.

Mr. Hauser said that Birds Eye proudly supports local food pantries and was pleased to be able to make this donation on behalf of Birds Eye to Catholic Charities.

“We truly appreciate this generous donation to our food pantry,” said Mary-Margaret Pezella-Pekow, Executive Director of Catholic Charities of Oswego County.  “The donations we receive help us meet the increased demand that we are experiencing at our food pantry and provides us with the opportunity to feed as many families and individuals as possible.  The thoughtfulness of businesses such as Birds Eye is greatly appreciated as it allows us to continue our mission of helping those in need.”

Catholic Charities of Oswego County serves all people in need regardless of their religious affiliation. Primary funding sources for Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s programs are the United Way of Greater Oswego County, the Diocesan Hope Appeal, the County of Oswego and private donations by individuals and local companies and organizations.
