On March 29, Bishop Grimes will host the annual Academic Games. The competition is offered to Catholic School students in grades K-6. Event categories include: Math, Science, Oratory, Drawing/Painting, Spelling, Vocal, Essay, Religion and Lego Robotics. Eligible students may enter more than one category and contestants compete on an individual basis.
Kindergartners are eligible to participate in the following categories: Drawing/Paining, Oratory, Vocal, Religion and Science.
For student wishing to participate, they should register with their school.
The purpose of the event is to (1) develop self-esteem and dignity through excellence in academic/cultural achievement; (2) to interact and socialize with students from neighboring Catholic schools; (3) to promote quality Catholic education; and (4) to have fun!
