Students and staff at Oswego County BOCES rallied this holiday season to support a local non-profit organization in its more than 20-year mission of supporting people with terminal illnesses.

The Francis House, located in Syracuse, provides a home and an extended family to terminally ill people with a prognosis of six months or less to live.
The home does not receive insurance reimbursement or charge its residents and runs completely on monetary and in-kind donations of food, paper products and other household items.
OCB’s in-kind donation for the home included stacks of paper towels, toilet paper, and tissues as well as four handmade fleece tie-blankets.
