Career and Technical Education students enrolled in the Floral Design and Greenhouse Technology program at Oswego County BOCES joined Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County for a Holiday Farmers’ Market during the “Christmas In Mexico” weekend in early December.

The event gave local agricultural businesses and farms an opportunity to showcase what local agriculture has to offer for the holiday season and all year long.
Participants in the market included apple orchards, maple syrup producers, alpaca farms, Christmas tree farms and more.
OCB students were invited to join the event to share with attendees some of what they learn about in their high school program, give floral design demonstrations and craft handmade bows.
