Hosted by Lighthouse Lanes, the tournament will be held Nov. 13 from noon to 4 p.m.

The tournament will offer two flights of teams comprised of adults and children.

The first flight, from noon to 2 p.m., will feature cosmic bowling for teams of two adults and two children age 12 and under.

The second flight of regular bowling from 2 to 4 p.m. will be for teams of two adults and two youth ages 13 and older.

Teams are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy for Catholic Charities’ Let’s Give For A Kid program that provides toys for children in need in Oswego County.

“With the current economic conditions, we are anticipating a large demand for this program. We want to be able to make the holidays special for as many children and their families as we can. To do this we are reaching out to the community to support our efforts by donating new, unwrapped toys. We will have donation boxes at various businesses and organizations throughout Oswego County until Dec. 18 where toys, as well as wrapping paper, tags and gift boxes can be left for pickup,” said executive director of Catholic Charities of Oswego County, Mary-Margaret Pezzella-Pekow.

In addition to the tournament, Lighthouse Lanes will also host a chicken barbeque to benefit the Let’s Give For A Kid program. Chicken dinners will be available from noon until sold out.

A limited number of spots are available for each flight at a cost of only $20 per team.
