OSWEGO, NY – The Sandy Harrison Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to an Oswego High School senior for outstanding scholastic achievement and student involvement in the school community.
However, this scholarship has an additional dimension.
Since Sandy Harrison was a gifted writer, the personal aspect of this scholarship comes with each applicant being requested to submit an original writing piece.
It is with great pleasure that the selection committee presented Brian Walczak (attending Clarkson University) with a check for $500 as this year’s recipient.
Brian’s outstanding academic achievements, school and community involvement and his gift of writing make him a very deserving recipient.
