Oswego, NY – Broadwell Hospitality Group (BHG) has named Alexandria Broadwell their new Director of Marketing and Accounts,” according to BHG partner, Shane Broadwell.
Broadwell will oversee the marketing and advertising objectives for BHG, as well as manage client accounts for all of their hospitality company’s scheduled events.
BHG, an Oswego-based hospitality group, owned by the Broadwell Family, George, Sr., Cathy, George Jr., Shane and Alex, oversees the management and operations of the Best Western PLUS Captain’s Quarters Hotel, Quality Inn & Suites Riverfront Hotel, Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, Alex’s on the Water, Alexandria’s Premier Lakeview Weddings, Bayshore Grove, GS Steamers, and the Captain’s Club.
“We are very excited to welcome Alex to the BHG team,” said Shane Broadwell. “Our marketing efforts and client relationships will be key to the continued growth and success of our expansive operations, and having Alex manage and oversee that process will be a considerable asset.”
A native of Oswego, New York, Broadwell recently graduated from Onondaga Community College, Magna Cum Laude with an Associates of Science Degree in Business Administration. She has worked previously for BHG as an executive assistant, and also at Bayshore Grove and GS Steamers. She is a member of United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), and is a competition level horseback rider.
Broadwell Hospitality Group finalized the initial phase of the new Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center in Oswego this past fall. The 10,000 sq. ft., 600-person, state-of-the-art facility, is located adjacent to their Best Western PLUS Captain’s Quarters Hotel. The second phase, an on-site family restaurant, Alex’s on the Water, is scheduled to open later this summer.
