FULTON, NY – Sue Ellen Burgess-Thompson was inducted as the Fulton Lions Club’s newest member and the club was entertained by The Goodnight Ladies at their February meeting, said Melissa Champion, president.
Burgess-Thompson, the newest Fulton Lion, was sponsored by Lion Renee Doney and the induction ceremony was conducted by Past President Patrick Devendorf. “We are delighted to have Sue Ellen join our club,” Champion said. “Our numbers are growing and we’re always working to extend our outreach to our community.”

In addition to the induction, the club enjoyed a rousing performance by The Goodnight Ladies, Champion said. “Their high-energy 20-minute set had no breaks and moved seamlessly through a medley of tunes from the American songbook—everything from Alley Cat and the theme from The Flintsones to American Pie and the theme from America’s Funniest Home Videos. We loved it!”
