Burritt Motors Revs Up Oswego Community Christian School’s Annual Auction

OSWEGO, NY – Burritt Motors of Oswego, in conjunction with the Oswego Community Christian School, has put the school’s third annual auction on the fast track with the addition of a 2006 Grand Prix automobile.

The auto will be one of the many sought after items during the school’s auction to be held May 15 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Oswego Armory on West First Street.

“We are excited to be adding this automobile to our ever-increasing list of items that will be available for our auction,” said committee member, Patty Brancato. “Thanks to the support we have received from the community and our local businesses we have a wide selection of desirable items for people of all ages.”

In addition to the 2006 Grand Prix, other items up for bid at the auction include: a four-pack of Disney World Park-Hopper Passes; an Oswego Speedway Classic Weekend package; a Char-Broil gas grill with accessories from Lowe’s, a number of gift cards from area restaurants and much more.

Along with the excitement of the silent and live auctions there will also be a drawing for a beautiful handmade quilt donated by Samantha McKie and the Oswego Community Christian School’s annual prize drawing.

For a donation of only $10, individuals will have the opportunity to win one of three great prizes including a grand prize of either a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise for two adults or a $1,000 Visa Card, winner’s choice; a second prize of a 40-inch LCD flat screen television; and a third prize of either a $250 gas or grocery card, winner’s choice.

The Oswego Community Christian School’s auction, which serves as a fundraiser for the school, will feature a silent auction from 1 to 3 p.m. and a live auction from 3 to 5 p.m.

Food and refreshments will be available, including the Oswego Community Christian School’s famous chicken barbecue from 1 p.m. until sold out.

All proceeds from this event will be used for the continued improvement of the quality of education offered to the students at OCCS.
