FULTON, NY – Friends, family and community leaders recently gathered to mark the completion of C & A Fitzpatrick Properties Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) project and for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening of Fitzpatrick Financial in the building at 201 S. 2nd St.
“My family and I are so appreciative of the wonderful turnout at this event and for the tremendous support we’ve received from the City of Fulton, Fulton Community Development, and from our community,” said Craig Fitzpatrick, owner of Fitzpatrick Financial and co-owner of C & A Fitzpatrick Properties with his wife, Alexandra. “We’ve made extensive renovations to the physical space as we move forward and continue to build our business.”

Fitzpatrick Financial owner Craig Fitzpatrick and his family received a congratulatory certificate from the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce on the opening of his business. Here they are joined by Fulton Mayor James Rice, second from left, family, friends, and local business leaders to celebrate the occasion.

Fulton Mayor James Rice welcomed attendees and complimented the Fitzpatrick’s on the completion of the DRI project. “C & A Fitzpatrick Properties received funding through Homes and Community Renewal for interior and exterior renovations, “ Rice said. “ These renovations help improve accessibility, increase energy conservation and create a vibrant, fresh look to our downtown. Specifically, exterior paint, roofing, a new kitchen area, reception, countertops, automatic wheelchair accessible doors, new interior and exterior LED fixtures, and new exterior signage is an investment of $66,396. The DRI funded $53,906 of the project. Congratulations to everyone who had a hand in making this project a success. Together, we are building a stronger Fulton.”

“We are deeply rooted in this community,” said Fitzpatrick. “This is where we grew up, where our families live, and where we stay actively involved. We’re proud to call this place home, and we’re excited to continue supporting the people in our community, by helping them achieve their financial goals.”
