OSWEGO – Cheryl Camp and Frank George joined Burritt Motors recently, it was announced by Rich Burritt, owner.
Camp is a sales/leasing specialist, and George is a finance manager.
“Cheryl and Frank are important additions to our sales team,” said Burritt. “Both are well-known and have many years of experience, and each has a reputation for ensuring that their customers are delighted with their Burritt Motors experience.”
Camp has more than 23 years experience in the industry, with positions in sales, leasing and finance.
She holds a degree in Automotive Marketing from Michigan’s Northwood University, and resides in Central Square with her husband, Christopher, and son, Connor.
George holds a degree in Business Management from SUNY IT, and has more than 25 years experience in the industry.
He learned about fixed operations at his family-owned repair business in Rome, and expanded his experience in sales and finance at three Central New York dealerships where he held the titles of sales manager, used car manager and finance manager.
He resides in Brewerton with wife, Tracy, and children, Frank, Ashley and Olivia.
Burritt Motors’ history dates back to 1955 in Hannibal when Rich’s great-grandfather, Elmer O. Burritt, purchased a Chevrolet franchise that he operated until 1963.
To expand in a larger market, Rich’s grandfather, Richard, purchased the assets of a Chevrolet dealership that had been located on Oswego’s East Third Street. About a year later, he built the present dealership on Route 104, which underwent a $2.5 million expansion and renovation in 2013.
Rich follows his father, Chris, who ran the business for the past 38 years.
