This welcome gift was given to honor the 25th anniversary year of providing senior camping at Camp Hollis.

Camp Hollis is located just west of the city of Oswego on the shores of Lake Ontario.

This announcement comes with a listing of the needs that may be met at Oswego County’s popular Camp Hollis with the help of this cash.

Sandy Davis is the facilitator of the planning committee for the senior camping experience offered twice yearly at Camp Hollis.

She said the planning committee is working on contributing to the camp staff’s wish list.

The list includes 60 pair of badly needed new curtains for each of the 12 cabins on site, a set of utility shelves, an electric power washer, a metal wardrobe cabinet, a medium-iced lockable storage chest for outdoor equipment and three dehumidifiers.

The money will go just so far, Davis added.

She asks anyone that might have any of the needed items in good condition and willing to donate to please give her a call at 315-532-0107.

The 40 cabin windows are 3 feet wide and 4 feet tall.

Curtains presently in the cabins are very old and truly need replacing, she said.

Call Davis with any questions or regarding possible donations.

A huge thank you to Pathfinder Bank for its generous gift to get the ball rolling to meet the wish list needs of the staff at Camp Hollis.
