OSWEGO – The Oswego Players will begin the fall portion of its 2017 season of plays with the hilarious Neil Simon comedy, “The Sunshine Boys.”

Performances are slated for Saturdays Sept. 9 and 15, and Friday, Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. and Sundays, Sept. 10 and 17 at 2 p.m. in the Frances Marion Brown Theater of the Oswego Civic Arts Center.
The play is under the direction of Pablo I. Mendoza.
“The Sunshine Boys” chronicles the story of Al and Willie, “Louis and Clark,” a top-billed vaudeville team for more than 40 years.
Now the two aren’t speaking to each other.
When CBS requests them for a spot on a “History of Comedy” retrospective, a grudging reunion brings the two back together, along with a flood of memories, miseries and laughs.
Leading the cast are Matthew Fleming and Donald DelPriore, with support from cast members Nicholas Brown, Marianne Natoli, Jennifer Snow, Lexi Hartle, Paul McKinney and Stephanie Johnson.
For reservations for this fast-paced comedy, contact the Players’ box office at 315-343-5138.
