DELHI, NY – Helen Caster of Fulton is one of six students involved in a unique learning opportunity, an all-female construction project on the SUNY Delhi campus. Caster is currently pursuing an associate’s degree in Architectural Technology.
The students are building a footbridge to be placed over Addison Pond.
They are overseen by Professor Floyd Vogt of the college’s Construction Management program.
The students chose this experiential learning opportunity as a way to volunteer their time and devote the project to women who are committed to learning non-traditional roles.
SUNY Delhi is a member of the State University of New York, the largest comprehensive university system in the U.S. Delhi’s seamless approach to education includes more than 60 academic programs, leading to one-year certificates, associate’s degrees and bachelor’s degrees in select program areas at Delhi.
