OSWEGO, NY – Friendly’s Restaurant in Oswego will help Catholic Charities of Oswego County ‘Lick Hunger’ in our community when it hosts a very special Friendly’s Family Fun Night.
On March 3 Friendly’s in Oswego will donate 10 percent of all sales between 5 and 8 p.m. to Catholic Charities of Oswego County.
General manager of Friendly’s Patrick Dewine said that the restaurant is happy to support Catholic Charities.
“Friendly’s is committed to supporting our community. Hosting a Family Fun Night is a great way to bring community members together in support of a worthwhile cause. It also allows us to give something back to our community by helping our local non-profit organizations,†he said.
Director of Catholic Charities’ Emergency Services program Helen Hoefer is looking forward to the event.
“We are facing some very difficult times. Our food pantry and our other programs are experiencing a tremendous demand for our services. We truly appreciate Friendly’s offer to host a Family Fun Night for us. I invite everyone to join us for some great food and support our efforts to ‘Lick Hunger’ in Oswego County and continue our mission of helping families in need,†she said.
Ten percent of all proceeds, whether eat-in or take-out, will be donated to Catholic Charities of Oswego County.
