Held recently at the Fulton War Memorial, the event provided area youth with an afternoon of fun that included free school supplies, lunch bags packed with a healthy lunch, face painting, complimentary haircuts, dental screenings, presentations on health and safety education and more.

“It was a fantastic event,” said CYO Program Coordinator, Stacie Roberts.  “Attendance was everything we hoped it would be and everyone had a wonderful time.”

More than 20 agencies and organizations lent their support to make the Back to School Youth Fair possible.

Roberts was impressed with the cooperation she received from the agencies and organizations that participated in the event.

“I can’t thank them enough for being a part of our Back to School Youth Fair. Their presence and contributions to the event helped to educate the public on health, safety and education and in turn, strengthen our community,” said Roberts.

According to Roberts, the feedback she has received from the community and those who participated has been overwhelmingly positive and plans are already underway for next year’s event.
