Cayuga Community College Student Receives Scholarship

Tammy Vega, Cayuga Community College – Fulton Campus student, was recently awarded a scholarship through the American Red Cross organization. Tammy’s involvement in Student Government and four blood drives during the 2009-2010 academic year earned her this prestigious honor. Tammy, along with other students, was charged with recruiting donors which included faculty, staff and students from the Fulton Campus. Her efforts in personally recruiting a high number of donors for each drive helped the college achieve their desired collection goals.
