FULTON — Prospective students, their families and community members can learn about all aspects of Cayuga Community College at an upcoming open house at the college’s Fulton Campus.
The college’s Open House and Financial Aid Day will feature information on a wide array of subjects, including degree programs, student services, financial aid, student clubs, activities and events.
The open house is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon March 3 at the college campus, located at 11 River Glen Drive in Fulton.
Students are encouraged to register ahead of time at www.cayuga-cc.edu/openhouse, but registration is not required.
“We’re excited to have prospective students and their families visit our Fulton Campus to discuss their future academic and career paths,” said Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs/Dean of the Fulton Campus Dr. Keiko Kimura. “This will be a great opportunity for students to explore the campus and delve into our academic programs, athletics, student clubs and everything else Cayuga Community College has to offer.”
One of the most affordable colleges in New York, Cayuga offers almost 30 degree programs and more than 10 certificate programs between its two campuses.
In addition to featuring a small student-to-faculty ratio of 17:1, the college also offers flexible scheduling options, with degrees and courses available online and at its Auburn and Fulton campuses.
The open house will include a general overview of the college and breakout sessions for prospective students and their families, providing an opportunity to learn more about specific degree offerings and other services provided by Cayuga.
The open house will also include an information session on the college’s nursing program and a student panel featuring current Cayuga students.
Financial aid staff will be available to field questions and discuss available aid for students, the award process and help those in attendance fill out a financial aid application.
