Celebrating Legislator Day at the Oswego County Fair

Several Oswego County Legislators attended the 154th annual Oswego County Fair in Sandy Creek over the Independence Day weekend. They received a guided tour of the fairgrounds by personnel from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County, including Executive Director Paul Foresteire, Agriculture Team Coordinator Jonathan Schell, Agriculture Economic Development Specialist Courtney Supa and Nancy Weber, chairman of the Oswego County Dairy Promotion Committee. Their visit included stops at the arts and crafts building, the heritage building, the Oswego County Community Development building, the youth building where they competed against the Oswego County 4-H Club in an agriculture quiz game, and the dairy building where they enjoyed lunch, made butter led by the Onondaga County Dairy princess and created sundaes with members of the Oswego County Chapter of ABATE (American Bikers Aimed Toward Education).
